These are adorable but one caution. The first time I made them the night before and refrigerated them for work the next day. They were so soggy. Has anyone had luck making them ahead of time or do you pretty much have to make and eat them right away? They are delicious and easy to make just not so good soggy.

I have made these many times now and they are always a hit at the party. They taste really very good. One time I didn't take the time to cut the tomato, omitted the olive and chives and still VERY good! Great appetizer!

I also used flavored cream chees for quick assembly. My 2-year-old grandson loves the "YADYBUGS!"

I made these ladybugs for a baby shower. Everyone said they tasted great; BUT the crackers got soggy.

I Loved these darling lady bug appetizers. They went like hotcakes. I used rosemary/olive oil Triscuit and Brie Cheese in the round. Sliced the Brie for the white on the cracker, then added the ladybug. They flew right off the plate!

We made these for a Widow's Tea we did one year, with a summery, warm, sunshine theme. All of the dear widows LOVED them, and were even hesitant to eat them because they were SO cute! :)

They look so cute. I'm not such a huge fan of the ingredients.

I would make these again in a heartbeat! I made them for my daughter's 1st birthday party which was a ladybug theme. They looked SO cute and everyone loved them. I made some other ladybug finger food snacks I found on a different site too and they all looked so cute together!! It takes a bit of time to assemble them but once you get the hang of it after doing a few, it gets easier. For the black dots, I shopped around for what I thought would be a good applicator-type thing. I found a squeezable tube of black icing by Dec Cake but I think in the end we used the tube some but also dipped toothpicks into the end and made dots because they were coming out too big. Anyway, I'd still make them again, they were very cute for the party theme and fun to eat!

I haven't made this yet, but I'm so thrilled and eager to serve them. They seem so easy and with flavored cream cheese and black decorating gel, this will be a snap. My party's theme is lady bugs so this is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for posting it!!

These were a hoot to make and were adorable! Tasted good, too. When I mixed the creamed mixture together I thought "this isn't going to be very flavorful!" but it was very good, actually! The large olives that I bought (said 'large' on the label) were much too big-buy the smallest ones you can find. You'll also want cherry tomatoes on the smaller rather than larger size. I made my ladybugs in the morning for an evening party, so I needed to refrigerate them. Be sure to let the black dots dry for abut 15-20 minutes if you're going to cover with plastic wrap. I also used Neufchatel cheese (33% less fat cream cheese) and red.fat sour cream. I did not give the bugs antennas either. 5 stars!!
