Kung Fu Burgers Recipe

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 lb extra lean ground beef (5% fat)
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped green onion, for garnish
  • Pinch salt and pepper

Directions

  • In medium bowl, blend meat, soy sauce, and ginger with fork. Form into 4 burger patties.
  • Preheat grill to medium. Coat grill with cooking spray.
  • Cook until browned on first side, flip carefully. Cook until burgers reach internal temperature of 160°F and juices run clear.
  • Remove to serving platter. Garnish with green onions, and season with salt and pepper as desired.
