Kipplens Recipe

Kipplens Recipe Kipplens Recipe photo by Taste of Home Rating 5

My Great-Aunt Hilda makes this recipe every Christmas, and everybody just raves about it! Kipplens taste a lot like Mexican wedding cakes...but I like them better. Kipplens really do melt in your mouth! Plus, they are easy to make-an advantage for me because I have two small children at home and also like to quilt, cross-stitch and work in my garden.

My grandmother used to make these all the time when I was a kid! They are so simple to make and the dough can be made and tossed in the fridge for a quick batch later. My husband calls these the Warm Cloud Cookies. Heavenly!

I made these on a whim because they looked simple and I was making several different kinds of cookies. So glad I did! They ARE simple and also very tasty!! I received so many compliments that I now make them every year. I love these cookies!

I've tried many versions of these holiday cookies, under different names, and this is the BEST! Thanks for the recipe.

I made these along with several other cookies and took them to work. My co-workers loved them AND wanted the recipe. These will be added to my Christmas cookie tradition.

The first time I made these instead of mexican wedding cakes, my husband complimented me on my "better than usual" cookies. They have been a holiday staple ever since!
