Spicy kielbasa sausage and plentiful cabbage and potatoes give this dish a pleasing, Old World flair. My husband never liked cabbage before I made this, but now he does! —Romaine Wetzel, Ronks, Pennsylvania

Made this recipe late night everyone loved it. The only changes I made where I added 1tablespoons garlic power, 1teaspoon salt and pepper and 2 tablespoon A1 sauce and smoked paprika. Really good with sweet Hawaiian rolls.

My husband said this is one of new favorite dishes! And I loved it too. Definitely a "make again" recipe!

I precook the potatoes a couple minutes in the microwave; it cuts down on the cooking time.

Our family loves this dish. I make it a few times a month. When I make it I double the recipe and I used canned diced potatoes instead.

Great flavor, but too much cabbage. Next time I'll add more sausage and less cabbage. Brown onions with sausage, then add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 30-45 min.

Didn't find a fault with this recipe as much as it just wasn't our family's cup of tea, so to speak.

This is one on my husband's favorite. My tip for the recipe would be to pre cook your potatoes then the timing of the orginal recipe will work.

I have been making this recipe for years and it never fails me. It's my "go to" recipe! I've made this for camping trips, pot lucks and have it on my dinner table once a month. I find that I must double the recipe to accomodate my family of four. And leftovers are great!
