I used a bottle of sparkling white grape juice for all the liquid and it turned out fabulous! Next time I'll use marachino cherries instead of strawberries. My family love this recipe.

A few years ago, Jell-o had a sparkling jello recipe that this was great for doing. I'm glad that someone brought the idea back. Children love it because it makes them look grown up. Try different flavors for different effects.

I am a serious champagne lover, so I requested that my 21-year old daughter make this for my 48th birthday. Oh man...I'm telling you...this is a absolutely scrumptious, grown up, culinary delight. We had a little bit of chocolate on the side. Couldn't have asked for a better ending to a meal, especially since I'm not a big sweet eater.
