These ribs are unique because of the spicy rub and the combination of sweet brown sugar and spicy jalapeno peppers in the sauce. I always make them for my husband's birthday. —Shirley Manthey, Omaha, Nebraska

Excellent... used cayenne pepper instead of chili power only because I was out. Very spicy, but really good.

we loved this recipe, the sauce was top notch. The only thing we will do different is to go with beef ribs and make a little bit more sauce and cook the ribs in the sauce then put them on the grill.

Been making these ribs for years. It was in a TOH pork cookbook I got years ago. It is the ONLY way we ever make ribs anymore. We always double the sauce so there is enough.

These ribs are very tasty. I roasted them covered in the oven for 1-1/2 hours @ 300, turned off the oven and left them in for one more hour before removing - very tender! The jalapeno sauce is EXCELLENT. We loved it and will make and use it not only for ribs, but other meat/poultry/pork items on the bbq.

This recipe is FANTASTIC!!! Made the ribs last night and followed recipe as written. However they did not make it to the grill. I sampled a little bit of the meat with the sauce and could not wait any longer. The sauce is outstanding as well. Had to hold back on the jalapeno heat. BF is not the spicy kind of guy. Try this recipe!! You will love it!!

Used one seeded and one unseeded jalapeño which was the right amount of heat for us. We prefer a sweeter BBQ sauce, so the next time I try this, I may double the brown sugar. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

These ribs are great! We like our BBQ sauce sweet so the brown sugar is doubled in the rub and sauce. Also, double the sauce so there is enough.

We absolutely loved these ribs. The sauce was perfect and I plan to use what's left on chicken thighs.

Incredible. It sounds like it would be spicy but it actually isn't spicy at all! If you want it spicy add more jalapenos or Tabasco or cayenne pepper. This rub and bbq sauce would be excellent on chicken as well. This is one of the best tasting bbq sauces I have tried in a LONG time! Next time I would add lots of minced garlic to the bbq sauce, as well as maybe a little cayenne and maybe some cumin, or any other spice in my cabinet that looks good. Maybe some seasoned salt too. I also added some liquid smoke, dash of soy and maggi. This is one of the best recipes I have ever tried!

Turned out fabulous!! My new favourite Ribs!! ....however, this recipe was extremely mild with it's "heat" content...next time, I will at least 'double' the jalapenos if not more. I cooked the ribs at only 300 degrees though, as previously instructed to me by a chef (for 1-1/2 hrs.). Another tip that same chef gave me, was to have them wrapped in plastic wrap, while in the over.

Absolutely wonderful! That sauce was excellent and we will definitely make this one over and over!!! OK, we made two slabs of ribs and we had to double the rub for just one slab....so we had to double it again for the second slab. The sauce was excellent, and I'm a BBQ sauce connoisseur. I will use this sauce on lots of different meats. Thank you for this one. We ate every rib.

My husband used this recipe for the 4th of July. It was EXCELLENT! All of our guests loved it. He cooked the ribs on the BBQ rotissere rather than the oven. They were so beautiful we had to take a photo of them on the BBQ. We are making the rub in a larger quantity to have on hand. Plan to use the rub on Prime Rib roast. We will add a little more jalapenos for a little kick to the sauce. I would rate the spiceness as a 1 or 2 (1-5 with 5 being hot) on the heat scale.

Is the worcestershire sauce a must for the flavor? I'm allergic to some of the ingredients in the sauce. Soy is a no no

The sauce is awesome! I forgot how much I hated the fat on pork ribs though so will try another meat next time.

My husband loved this recipe! He told me this is the only recipe I should use for ribs from now on. I love it for the taste and how easy it is to make.
