This golden brown bread offers satisfying sweetness in every slice. The hearty round loaves rise well and cut beautifully. With an egg wash and a sprinkling of Italian seasoning, the bread looks pretty, too. -Kim Ooms Cottage Grove, Minnesota

it was good, but not spectacular. Id make it again because its a pretty basic bread that you can eat with just about anything. Mine wasnt as dense looking as the picture, and I would have liked for mine to look more like the pic. I followed the recipe exactly as posted, so wondering if it was a fluke or if I did something wrong. All in all it was pretty good flavor ;)

I have just came across this recipe a couple days ago and it has become a big hit in this house as the whole house here (6) of us love it very much and the boys keep asking for more so I have already made it 2 times and will continue to make it . I have also shared with others as it is too good to keep to ourselves lol. YUM!

I omitted the italian seasonings and the egg wash as I just wanted a basic dinner bread. The bread came out golden, round, and tasted wonderful. Its a perfect white bread that resembles that of a dinner roll. My husband remarked that it looked like it was baked in a brick oven in an artisan bakery somewhere. Great recipe.

I even forgot the egg wash, and this came out a beautiful and delicious bread. I can't wait to make it again; it had a very similar flavor to a local Italian restaurant's bread that we enjoy.

I had rave reviews from my family on this recipe. Made one loaf to give as gift and they loved it also. Making a double batch today since my family didn't get enough.

One of the best breads I have ever made. I also did not use a bread machine, did it by hand, it's a great bread!
