This is the best Meatlof I have ever made! Husband approved!!! This hearty and delicious recipe also made a great presentation on a platter. There will be plenty of leftovers as I made it for 2. This recipe could easily be made for a buffet or larger group. Very pleased!!!

Ok I need some help! The first time I made this, it turned out perfect! Great recipe. But every time I've made it since then, the seam comes undone while its baking and the cheese leaks out into the pan. Then when I slice it, its hollow :( Any ideas on how to make it stay together? I did nothing different from the first time, so I dont know what I'm doing wrong everytime since!

I love this meatloaf. Since trying it a couple of months ago, it is the only meatloaf that I make. My family was never fond of meatloaf until I made this one. This is definite a keeper at our house. This recipe does make a big loaf, but sometimes I make two, one for dinner, and one for the freezer. We just love it.

Having problems rolling the meatloaf? Use plastic wrap atop a PAM'ed cookie sheet! The cookie sheet helps to form the meatloaf and the plastic wrap makes rolling it a breeze! Just peel the wrap off as you go and gently slide it onto the greased cookie sheet and bake! These chefs make these things far too difficult and parchment paper doesn't have the pliability that plastic wrap has. KISS!

I made this for my first formal dinner at my new home. Everyone LOVED it and asked for the recipe. I can't wait to make it again, just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

I made this recipe as written except for the mushrooms (don't like mushrooms) and I baked it a little longer than stated. I don't care for leftovers, but I ate it four days in a row. I won't make my old meatloaf again. This one is so much better!!

I made this with some difficulty rolling it up but it still tasted so good. MY husband passed this recipie to his co-workers.

I've made it twice and it's really tasty. I have very moist, lean burger (older cow!) and the loaf splits toward the end, but no matter. I haven't used ham or mushrooms and I don't feel any need to add the salt it calls for. We love it!

I just made this recipe for the 2nd time, I actually made two and feed 20 people-there wasn't even a crumb left. It is a great meatloaf-and i recommend the 'make ahead mashed potatoes' to go with it, they are pictured with the meatloaf.

Outstanding recipe! Follow the recipe exactly except divide the meat mixture in two and roll out on aluminum foil or wax paper to fit 2 bread pans. I used 12 oz. of pizza sauce and added the extra to the top. This recipe is definitely a SAVE.

This meatloaf was absolutely delicious. The only changes I made were: I used a whole jar of pizza sauce and I used Italian Panko Breadcrumbs. This recipe would be great for a gathering because it makes alot. Will definitely make again. YUM

This was VERY good. A nice change from my regular meatloaf. I had to cook for nearly two hours and I also served with spagetti sauce on the side. Makes a ton!

I made this using "mild" Italian sausage, it was still way to spicy. My family said, it's OK, but don't make it again.

I made this as written except for the green pepper since I didn't have one. We loved it. I think I will make it into two loaves next time though. Mine cracked open at the top so maybe you have to do a really good job of mixing everything so it doesn't do that.

This was the best meatloaf I ever made. I will definitely make this again. I prepared it the night before, put it in the frig, and cooked it the next day after work. My son is not fond of ham or mushrooms but he loved this meatloaf. This is definitely a keeper in our house. It makes a lot, but leftovers are great heated up in the microwave, and makes a good meatloaf sandwich. Please try this I truly think you are going to love this meat loaf. Gail NC

OMG I made this meatloaf tonight. It was the best meatloaf that I have ever tasted. All of my other meatloaf recipes are history. I did not make any changes to this recipe, I think it is perfect. It makes a lot, but I am looking forward to the good sandwiches that it is going to make. When I make it again and I know I will, I will probably turn it into two, one to cook and one to freeze. You have got to try this one. It is wonderful. My family gave it a 10, and they do not even fond of meatloaf. Gail and very happy camper

My husband bragged about this meatloaf to his brother! He asked me not to loose this recipe. I did not include the ham and mushrooms at his request but I will do half the loaf with those next time as I know i will like it!...be sure not to cut it too quickly as the cheese will run out.
