It wouldn't be St. Patrick's Day without potatoes. The herbs make these extra tasty. —Connie Lou Blommers, Pella, Iowa

I made these for St Patty's dinner, and they are absolutely delicious! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the 1/2 c butter called for in the recipe. I used half as much (4T) and it was still PLENTY to coat the potatoes. I will definitely make these again.

AMAZING!!!!!I made these for St. Patrick's Day for my daughter and her best friend (now another daughter) both of whom are in the Navy. Now when my "newest" daughter drives up for a visit, her most requested food are these "CRACK" potatoes...so called because of her addiction to them! Will be making them again for her soon!

Very tasty! Never thought that adding some dill would make the flavor that different! Will use again.

My rating is actually five stars, but the site won't let me change it.
Very tasty! Thank you for sharing this, Connie Lou. I love potatoes, and I'm always looking for new recipes so we can have them more often. Had to use lime juice as I didn't have any lemon. Also left the skins on the potato for nutrients and fiber. This is a new part of my "recipe keepers" folder.

Maybe aunt doorthe, over cooked the potatoes, are she used the wrong potatoes. I suggest you use the brown russet potatoes. I find that red, and the small white potatoes doesn't take that long to cook.

Very good. Had a little trouble mixing them as they were so soft they started to mash.

Delicious! Easy, too; not much chopping. My minor alterations: Used a non-dairy margarine, and used green onions instead of chives since I had a bunch around.

They really good just don't cook the potatoes too long or else it turns into mashed potatoes when you mix them up. Altogether good.
