I created this yummy chocolate trifle when I was given a bottle of Irish Cream liqueur as a gift and had leftover peppermint candy. I've served it with both liqueur and coffee creamer…and candy canes, too! It's always rich and decadent. —Margaret Wilson, Sun City, California

One of the simplest and most tasty recipes ever! My colleagues gobbled this up the minute it went on the table. Definitely a keeper!!!

I made this fantastic dessert just as a cake for my family and friends. I left the cake in the pan, poked the holes and filled it with the creamer, then topped it with the pudding and the whipped topping. It was so easy and left very little mess!

Made this for a sports dessert on St. Patrick's Day and it was a huge hit. Had trouble finding the spearmint candies on St. Paddy's Day though - go figure.

Great recipe! My family LOVE anything chocolate. Peppermint is more to my taste in this than spearmint. But otherwise followed the recipe as written. Yummy!

Re: Irish Creme Chocolate Trifle

I made this for my Irish friend! I used Bailey's Irish Cream instead of creamer. I used chocolate cooked pudding instead of instant, and I used Andes Choc. instead of Candies. This dessret was divine!!

My mother-in-law and I made this as one of our Thanksgiving desserts. It was very good and we ate the whole thing but I wish we would have made it with Baileys instead of the creamer.
