Ice Cream BonBons

Ingredients
- 1 quart ice cream
- 2 cups finely chopped toasted pecans
- 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
Directions
- Make 3/4-in. ice cream balls with a small melon-ball scoop;
- immediately roll in pecans. Cover and freeze until firm, at least 1
- hour.
- In a microwave or small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and
- butter; stir until smooth. Stir in coffee until dissolved. Remove 10
- ice cream balls from freezer; push a toothpick into each. Holding
- toothpick and working quickly, dip balls in chocolate mixture. Place
- on waxed paper or press toothpicks into Styrofoam block. Return to
- freezer. Repeat with remaining balls. Place in small paper cups or
- wrap with foil or plastic wrap. Store in freezer. Yield: about 5
- dozen.
