Was so excited to make this recipe because there is a blizzard where I live right now. But after I tasted it, all I could taste was the almond extract. I also found it too sweet. I even cut back on the sugar too. I wouldn't make this again :(

I have never made a home made hot cocoa before, i always thought it to be time consuming and messy but it was very yummy and simple!! I will be making this again!

I also had to add milk because it was too sweet. For some reason mine had a chalky taste. Not sure if it was the cocoa or what.

For me, it would have been better if it was not so sweet. I added extra milk to try and even it out a little. Otherwise it tasted good. I did not add almond flavoring and used black coffee instead of water. I will make again and cut back on the sugar.

I really didn't like the taste - something was missing. Wouldn't make again.
