Honey French Dressing

The smooth thick dressing is a nice blend of tangy and sweet, with flavor reminiscent of a Western dressing. I got this recipe years ago when I worked as a cook in a high school cafeteria.Joan Dones, Las Vegas, Nevada16 ServingsPrep/Total Time: 5 min.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- In a blender or food processor, combine the first eight ingredients;
- cover and process until blended. While processing, add oil in a
- steady stream. Process until thickened. Store in the refrigerator.
- Yield: 2 cups.
