Honey Berry Milk Shakes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 2-1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup honey

Directions

  • In a blender, combine the ice cream, berries, milk and honey; cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Analysis: One 1-cup serving (prepared with fat-free frozen yogurt and skim milk) equals 202 calories, 82 mg sodium, 2 mg cholesterol, 45 gm carbohydrate, 7 gm protein, 1 gm fat. Diabetic Exchanges: 1-1/2 starch, 1-1/2 fruit.
