This is a very good tasting lemonade. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is extremely sweet. I love sweets, but the amount of sugar in this recipe is too much. As it is, might work well if using limes (limeade). For lemons I would cut the sugar to 1/2 cup, everything else is fine. Make double and triple batches, I gulped this recipe in only a few minutes; so refreshing!

Loved this!!I have to make a huge batch though, 2 servings isnt enough. And people 3/4 sugar when using real lemons is not extreme.

Use Splenda, Aspartame, stevia, or saccharine?

My husband and I use 5 cups of water 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and either 1 cup of sugar or splenda. We bring the splenda down to 3/4 cup. My husband likes it tarter.

Can you use water instead of Club Soda? I just cannot stand the taste of Club Soda.
