My husband and I both work full time and we have three daughters, so good, quick meals are important. This stew works wonders, it always tastes great and is a regular menu item for us. —Marie Shanks, Terre Haute, Indiana

I fully intend to try this recipe. I do agree with several of these people too, that instead of being negative, perhaps offer a solution?? Or better yet, go elsewhere where they have salt reduced recipes. I'm sure there are websites out there. For me.. i'm absolutely going to try this. The picture alone makes my mouth water.

Too high in salt.

i agree with Summy about all the negative comments. I seldom read the reviews any more because of the reviewers who never make the recipe but critique it. It is good recipe, easy to make with items on hand.

I am just so tired of the food police. I haven't tried this yet but fully intend to try it. You people really should just subscribe to the healthy food sites or just change the recipe to your taste instead of complaining.

Um, wow...I sure wish all sodium-haters would stop passing judgement on recipes. There are always ways to make recipes lower in sodium. There are low or no sodium soups that can be substituted. For people like myself, with very low blood pressure, sodium isn't a problem. And, for others, a periodic indulgence can be much more healthy than the stress of constantly avoiding those things we desire. There. I said it. I'm off my soap box, and going to exercise with a Leslie Sansone "Walk at Home" DVD. xo :) And, I'll make this stew later.

Way too much sodium. Not a healthy dish to serve anyone let alone children.

This stew recipe is so quick and so good, I have to double or triple the recipe. It is a left-over that my daughter will eat.
