Very easy to make. The most time consuming part was just rolling it in sprinkles but wasnt bad at all. I did however after reading the reviews refigerate them for only an hour and was perfect to work with. I think if you leave them in the fridge for 3 hrs they would become hard to work with. Great recipe though. They can defintly kill a sweet tooth!

Doesn't taste like a truffle to me more like a piece of chocolate.

This recipe is not quite as good as some truffle recipes that I have made previously, but it is very easy to make! I may try some bourbon in it if I make it again to add some flavor contrast.

Very easy after I warmed them up from chilling in the refrigerator. I think next time I might not chill them but let them set for a little while at room temperature and then go ahead and roll them into balls . I first made all the balls and had to reroll to warm t

I loved how simple this was my 4 year daughter loved rolling these in sprinkles. We tried nuts, coconut and sprinkles we had to hold them in our hands for a minute or two to warm the truffle up enough to get the toppings to stick this was a wonderful treat for our family and friends. I immediately got request to make more.

I made this to bring over to my grandparent's house on Christmas Eve. Everyone loved them. I used 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract instead of the vanilla to give it some Christmas flare. I also rolled them in either powdered sugar, red/green colored sugar and holiday nonpareils.

I've been making these for years. They're fun and easy; my four year old granddaughter loves to roll them in the sprinkles and nuts.

don't chill the dough, best to leave it sit for a 1/2 hr room temp, then roll into balls, decorate and then chill for about 1/2 hr

LOVED this recipe. So easy to make! I agree the chilling time given makes this impossible to work with, though. I chilled for an hour and after a half hour out of the fridge could easily work with it. I made a number of variations including rolling in chopped up Andes peppermint candies. It gave them a festive red and white coloring. The favorite seems to be the batch I used almond flavoring in rather than the vanilla, though. I then rolled it in chopped coconut. Definitely making every Christmas!
