"I served this fresh and colorful blend at a New Year's dinner party, and it was an instant success," relates Carol Dilcher from Emmaus, Pennsylvania. Since you use packaged greens, it takes just a few moments to put all the ingredients together.

Made this salad for a dinner party at a friend's. Everyone raved about it. Best part is you can get everything ready ahead of time and just toss it together when ready to serve (except the apple). Makes it very fresh and easy when traveling. Made it once with red pepper instead of the apple, but it just wasn't as good.

Love this salad and it's requested at holidays. Try putting chicken or turkey in it for more protein.
