With its creamy stroganoff-style filling, this flavorful sandwich seems like something special. But at 98¢ a serving, it's an easy and economical choice for a casual weeknight meal. —Jillene Brown, Buckeye, Arizona

My husband and I both thought this was awful. The cream cheese and sausage was not a good combination. If you do decide to make it, I would suggest cutting off the top third of the bread so you end up with more of a bowl to hold the filling.

This was amazing! I used low fat cream cheese and sliced mozerella just on the bottom layer. My husband begged me to print the recipe and keep it as one of my regulars. And even all 4 of my kids liked it!! Unbelieveably good!

This has been a go to recipe in my home for a few years now. Nope, not the most healthy but very satisfying.

It was good but I think it has too much cream cheese. Next time I will use more mozzarella and less of the cream cheese

My whole family loved this. My 8 year-old grandson has requested it at least twice since I made it (about 2 weeks ago).

I made this for a party and everyone LOVED it! The bread easily sliced up into 15+ pieces for sharing, although it's a little messy so it's not the best finger food! The flavor was delicious and it's so budget friendly!

Made this sandwich for a party last night and it was a big hit. The only change I made was to use Jimmy Dean sausage and I did not measure the the amount of cheese I used. Will be making this again.

I made this today. what a keeper. I made one change, that was the bread. I used kaiser rolls, and sliced the top off (very thin) made a bowl out of the bottom. Followed the filling directions and was it good. Great for individual servings without having to cut the loaf. Fantastic!! I will be making again with a nice green salad

Too Bad MICHIGANGIRL- This is a very good recipe. Live a little.

YOUR FAT AND SODIUM ARE WAY TOO HIGH! TRY TO USE 2% FAT CHEESES AND EITHER TURKEY OR SOY SAUSAGE TO LOWER THESE. WITH THE CREAM CHEESE, USE THE NO-FAT TYPE . ALSO, PAY ATTENTION TO THE BREAD TYPE/BRANDS THAT YOU USE. THEY VARY GREATLY IN THEIR NUTRITIONAL FACTS.I WOULDN'T TOUCH THIS RECIPE AS IT IS WRITTEN!
