Tip

Shred and Freeze Cheese

It’s usually cheaper to buy cheese in blocks than in shredded form. So I purchase large quantities of cheddar, Monterey Jack and mozzarella, then shred them myself in my food processor. I store the shredded cheese in the freezer in heavy-duty resealable plastic bags, so I have it at my fingertips whenever it’s needed. —Evelyn O., Parma, Ohio

Very good recipe. I had to leave out the salt and spinach since my brother-in-law has kidney disease. Theres way too much sodium in spinach. I was shocked to find that out. But the dish is wonderful! Thank you!

Good! Added onion, extra garlic, fresh tomatoes! 1 cup cheese! I used tomato paste and had no problem with it being too watery!

It tastes good, but not so good I'd rush to make it again...i did add extra veggies and switched the white pasta for wholewheat...

This was very good! Will make it again.

As to the few who commented this was bland, perhaps if you taste your food while you are cooking and adjust the recipe to your tastes you might have better luck. Since this is a Italian based dish, You could try herbs such as basil, oregano, or parsley.

My 9 year old said this was better than regular spaghetti! Everyone loved it.

I thought this was really delicious. I did cut the broth a bit because it was a little runny. Also after adding the cheese, I put the skillet under the broiler to get the cheese brown and bubbly.
