“I always fix this casserole ahead when overnight guests are visiting, so I have more time to spend with them. Then, I simply add some toast or biscuits and fresh fruit for a complete meal that everyone loves. It also reheats well.” Pamela Norris - Fenton, Missouri

This dish tasted great. My husband made it, and he inadvertently added a whole bag of frozen shredded hash brown potatoes instead of measuring out only 3 cups. It tasted great regardless!~ Theresa

Wow! My family cant get enough of this casserole. Definitely a 5 star recipe as it is but the third time I made it, I tweaked it a bit, added chopped ham and mushrooms to the bottom layer and added a can of diced, Green Chili's to the egg mixture. I also baked it for 1 hour because we like it a little bit more browned on the top. I will be making this on Christmas Eve to pop in the oven on Christmas Day while my family opens presents. Absolutely Awesome!

It was good and was easy to make, but it tasted just like every other egg dish recipe. Not special enough to warrant 5 stars.

I love to make this recipe the day before Christmas. I use a foil pan on a cookie sheet so you don't have to get it out ahead of time and it can bake while the family has coffee and opens gifts. It makes for a nice relaxing morning.

Can this be frozen? I'd like to prepare some things ahead of Thanksgiving.

Good Recipe! Although I use leftover potatoes and add mushrooms and use 9 eggs and no milk. My family devours it as soon as I say it's ready.
