TIME: Prep: 5 min. Cook: 5 hours
Ingredients:
- 1 can (46 ounces) tomato juice
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 celery rib with leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 3 to 5 whole cloves
- 1 bay leaf
Directions:
In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine all of the ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until heated through. Discard cloves and bay leaf. Yield: 6 servings.
