My mother worked as a waitress, and this entree was a favorite of many of her customers. She made it for our family, too, and we all enjoyed it.

I just made this dish for supper. Talk about a winner. Everyone has already asked for it again. Even my 5 year old gave it a thumbs up. The only substitutions I made were using New York strip steak instead of round steak and mashed potatoes instead of noodles. I can't wait to try it with the noodles!
