Ham 'n' Tater Bake Recipe

Ham 'n' Tater Bake Recipe Ham 'n' Tater Bake Recipe photo by Taste of Home Rating 4

This casserole reminds me of a loaded baked potato. I usually make it several times a month—I've even served it to company. I'm always asked for the recipe, which I got from my sister.—Peggy Grieme, Pinehurst, North Carolina

This is very good and easy to make. I did use the broccoli cheese soup and sour cream like one of the reviews suggested. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe bake it at 375 because it wasn't hot when it came out, just warm.

I have no idea why anyone would say this doesn't have flavor. It was delicious and was eaten by every member of the family and enjoyed. The only changes I made was to add a little sour cream and shredded cheese and a little melted velveeta to the sauce after reading reviews to use a cheese soup. The broccoli soup was great with a little cheese added in. Husband gave it a 7 out of 10. I also split this recipe into 2 -9x9s and put one in the freezer. There was plenty for our family of 5 in a half batch. Thanks for a great and easy recipe. Will be using this one for my freezer cooking too!

This is a great recipe! I left out the broccoli and used cheddar cheese soup instead of cream of broccoli. Came out creamy and delicious! This recipe is also great reheated.

This recipe is a keeper and will definitely make again.

It was all right but not enough flavor...not even sure how I would modify it to improve it. Won't be making again.

This turned out disgusting and complete mush, it is the worst recipe I have ever tried from this site. I tried it because it looked good and had a high rating. I wanted to share my feedback to save someone else from a disasterous meal. On top of all that, it gave us a bad stomach ache, I think from the sulfites in the cubed ham.

Surprisingly good. I was a little concerned about calories and sodium, so I sub'd Cream of Mushroom (Healthy Request). I also used light mayo, low-fat milk, low-fat sharp cheddar cheese, and low sodium ham. Tasted yummy and Hubby said that it was a keeper.

I modified this recipe and used cheddar broccoli soup and sour cream instead of the mayonnaise. It was delicious.

My husband and daughter and I LOVE this recipe. It does taste like a loaded baked potato and I make this a couple times a month. It's one of the best recipes I've ever made.
