Ham 'n' Swiss Bread

Ingredients
- 1-1/3 cups water (70° to 80°)
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons mashed potato flakes
- 1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk powder
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup diced fully cooked ham
- 1/2 cup diced Swiss cheese
Directions
- In bread machine pan, place the first eight ingredients in order
- suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust
- color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine
- directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2
- tablespoons of water or flour if needed). Just before final kneading
- (your machine may audibly signal this), add ham and cheese.
- Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 1 loaf.
