We enjoyed this--very tasty and moist.

Just from looking at the ingredients in the recipe, with all of the salt content, it sounds almost like a brine to me. So I am not so concerned about that since it DOES get discarded. Can't wait to try it, will rate after I do.

My husband loved this marinade for his chops. We have tried lots of marinades and discarded the recipe. This one's a keeper!

Delicious ... I placed the chops in a rotisserie and they came out perfect, delicious and juicy. Definitely will make again.

I made a slight substitution of sesame oil instead of olive oil. The cayenne pepper really gave a spicy kick to the chops. Served with a rice and brocolli side dish that was also cooked right on the grill. Thanks for sharing!

I tried this marinade last night on pork loin and it was delicious! We grilled the pork slowly and it turned out perfect. My husband said that this recipe was a keeper.

I agree Lenadd. I believe we all make a mistake every now and then. Life is way to short to get so "pissy" over a spelling mistake.

You culd use low sodium Worcesthire and soy. There are alternatives to everything. You can even make your own low sodium Worcestshire sauce; recipes are out there.
Reviewed on May. 29, 2008 by katwil58
Do you realize how much of the marinade simply gets thrown away? There is no way all the sodium from the marinade stays on the pork. Think about it.

With 1/2 cup of Worcestershire, and 1/4 cup of soy sauce, this recipe must have over a gram of sodium - half of the recommended daily amount! It ought to come with a warning sign! I just swell up when I eat that much (I've gained as much as 10 lbs. overnight), but people with heart failure could die!
