Keep Onion HandyI keep a peeled onion in a glass jar in my refrigerator. It’s handy when I need a small amount of chopped onion for a recipe or my husband wants a slice of onion on his hamburger. It stays fresh in the jar, eliminating waste. —Dorothy G., Tewksbury, Massachusetts

In spite of the high sodium, it is still a keeper. I used fresh rosemary, basil as well as the fresh parsley. Very tasty!!!

Recipe was perfect just the way it is. Would not change a thing. Flavor was outstanding! Loved that it was on an Engish muffin. Will definitely make again. Might even try making meatballs sometime. I bet they would be great in spaghetti sauce over noodles.

I made this into a meatloaf. Placed in a greased loaf pan and baked it at 350* for 60-70 minutes. Then served it with a lettuce salad and fresh fruit. Made a nice easy summer meal! Was very happy with the seasonings and the overall flavor!!

I also added about 1/4 jar of roasted tomatoes, chopped fine. Added a great taste. Eliminated rosemary, added garlic. Didn't have spaghetti sauce, so used marinara. WOW. Everyone loved it. Did, as one reviewer said, made meatloaf with this recipe. Outstanding! If the sodium is too much, just eat salad for lunch.

I used ground turkey and it turned out great! They smelt so good when they were cooking. Another reviewers suggestion of chopped pepperoni sounds like a great idea for next time!

We had company over that does not like onion. So we just added onion on top. The flavor of the burger itself it AMAZING!! We added pepperoni slices, use mozzarella cheese and added green pepper to made it taste more like 'pizza'. I used spaghetti sauce (Newman's Sockarooni) instead of pizza sauce. Very flavorful. We plan to make this again in the near future.
