Grilled Marinated Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Directions

  • Remove skin and all visible fat from chicken, and place in 13-inch x 9-inch glass baking dish. Discard skin.
  • In small bowl, combine lemon juice, sugar, vinegar, lemon zest, and garlic. Blend mixture well and pour over chicken.
  • Turn to coat., cover and place in refrigerator 3 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  • Lightly coat grill grates with cooking spray and heat grill to medium-high.
  • Place chicken 4 inches from heat source and grill 20 - 30 minutes, or until juices run clear when pierced with fork.
