I got this grilled chicken recipe from a friend while living in Hawaii. It sizzles with the flavors of brown sugar, ginger and soy sauce. Huli means "turn" in Hawaiian. —Sharon Boling, Coronado, California

Would make a good grilled chicken sandwich (use breast vs thighs) with grilled pineapple ring and extra sauce.

We took this marinade camping and LOVED it! We will be using this as our go to bbq chicken marinade from now on.

We have made this recipe many times because its so easy and delicious. We make it for company and we make it when we are camping. Ive also used the marinade for grilled salmon filets with great results.

This is an awesome recipe! I ran out of soy sauce and only used a quarter cup - it was still fantastic! If you like teriyaki you'll like this!

This recipe sounds so good. We don't grill. Has anyone tried this in the oven?

This recipe is simple and delicious. I made it for company and grilled it before they arrived. Removed to a covered tin foil baking pan when grilling was complete, put it in conventional oven on 250 degrees until we were ready to eat. Received rave reviews from guests.

I used bone-in, skin-on leg quarters and marinated them all day. Family loved this recipe. Seventeen-year-old son said, "You can make this one again for sure!"
