Grilled Asparagus Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoons hot red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  • Preheat grill to medium.
  • Trim woody stems of asparagus by breaking stalks or slicing stalks.
  • Coat asparagus with oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and red pepper, if desired.
  • Grill asparagus 6 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • Transfer to serving platter.
