These soft and chewy cookies couldn’t be easier to make. Jazz them up with a chocolate kiss in the center, or substitute a different flavor of cake mix. —Angela Bailey, San Pierre, Indiana

Simple and good. Put some frosting in between two of these for a whoopie pie.

easy---use different flavored cake mixes. I used the new 50% less sugar cake mixes, added sugar free chips and fat free cream cheese for my diabetic husband. He loves them to say the least!!!

I picked this recipe based on the fact it has 5 ingredients and I wanted something simple to make a large amount of cookies for my sons teachers. It is very hard to mix and I wound up having to make the dough one day and cook them the next due to the 2 hour chilling. This is not a recipe you can make in an evening. Even after chilling over night the dough is still too sticky to work with. There is NO way you can touch this stuff with your hands. I even tried a small cookie dough scoop sprayed with pam and that didn't work.I have just pulled my first 2 pans of cookies out of the oven after 10 minutes of bake time, they do not look done and can not be baked further as the bottoms are burning. I saw the first review was very positive in that this recipe was very easy. This has not been my experience and I am no dummy in the kitchen. I am a retired chef and can cook mostly anything. I have lowered the oven temp to 300' and will start checking them at 6 minutes. I DO NOT reccomend this recipe. It is very unreliable.

These cookies are so easy to make. Placed a chocolate kiss on top and everyone commented how good they were at our church fellowship. Carolkoff

Taste great. However the preparation was not worth it. The two hours in the fridge didn't do much to keep the dough from being unbearably sticky. Needed to cook much longer than said time. Still good, but should be called STICKY GOOEY chocolate cookies.

These cookies have a great taste. I followed the recipe but they needed to cook much longer than 'when cracked'.... may be done but still wet and soft.
