Parmesan PointersWhen a recipe calls for shredded Parmesan cheese, use the cheese found in bags in the grocery store dairy section. Shredded Parmesan is often used in salads or soups where the shreds make a pretty garnish. If grated Parmesan is called for, use the finely grated cheese sold in containers with shaker/pourer tops. This type works well in lasagna and casseroles. (You can substitute either shredded or grated Parmesan in equal proportions in your favorite recipes.) If you decide to buy a chunk of Parmesan cheese and grate your own, be sure to use the finest section on your grating tool. You can also use a blender or food processor. Simply cut the cheese into 1-inch cubes and process 1 cup of cubes at a time on high until finely grated.

We loved this. I did not have the italian diced tomatoes so just added a tsp of italian seasoning and it was awesome. A really good meatless meal. Look forward to adding chicken sausage in the future

We always found gnocchi rather bland until we tied it this way. It is delicious and filling. A great family favorite I have made again & again!

I've made this several times and loved it. The last time I added sliced polish sausage at my husband's suggestion and it was even better.

It is good on its own, but the beans added an odd texture. I made it a second time with no beans and a lot more spinach (thawed frozen chopped kind) and it was better, in my opinion.

Made it for dinner last night exactly as the recipe is and thought it was very tasty. I even brought left overs in my lunch today and it is still just as good.

This was very tasty. For a variation, we used Trader Joe's Gnocchi with Gorgonzola & then omitted the Mozzarella Cheese. Couldn't find cannellini beans - so was fine with the kidney beans. Can also add cooked chicken, or beef to this to make it a meat dish.

This was so delicious my husband and I devoured the whole thing! He doesn't even like gnocchi, which I pointed out to him. He asked if we could have it again next week! I didn't have white beans so I used Pintos and I used frozen spinach because I didn't have fresh. DELICIOUS!!!
