Glazed Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

Glazed Peanut Butter Bars Recipe Glazed Peanut Butter Bars Recipe photo by Taste of Home Rating 5

Memories of lunchtime at school and my Aunt Shelly's kitchen come to mind when I bite into these sweet, chewy bars. My husband is the biggest fan of these peanut butter and chocolate treats. —Janis Luedtke, Westminster, Colorado

These are really good and pretty easy to make. My family gobbled them up really fast, so obviously they like them!!! The recipe makes a lot so they are perfect to take to gathering!

This is one of my favorite recipes in Taste of Home. Love it!

We couldn't wait until these were cool to eat them. They are very good. I baked these for about 24 min in my oven, which tends to cook things faster even when the convection setting isn't on. I didn't have milk chocolate chips so I used semi-sweet and they still tasted great.

I, too, found that the baking time needed to be much longer. These bars were a big hit at a picnic I took them to. The only problem I had was in melting the chips and peanut butter for the glaze. It wasn't creamy enough to spread so I had to drop it on in globs which wasn't attractive in the finished product. But peanut butter makes everything taste good!

I love everything about these bars! I've made them several times & will continue to make them.

Everyone who ate these thought they were delicious. The family and a visiting friend couldn't stop eating them! Baking times vary widely according to whatever stove you're using. I baked these for probably around 28 minutes, but shortly after I got a new stove about two years ago, I realized things were just taking longer to bake than they had with my old stove. Now I adjust the oven temperature up by twenty five degrees with whatever I bake, and that has solved the problem. Baking times for any recipe will depend on the baker's stove.

These were very well received at a recent gathering. They are easy to make and make a lot for a large group. I will make them often.

These were a huge hit at a recent party I hosted. I will definitely make them again! had many requests for the recipe. Maybe it's the individual oven(s), mine took 22 minutes.

I agree that the baking time is OFF for the 10 x 15 pan -- I would say it should be at least 30 minutes. Excellent frosting!

This is a very mild peanut butter tasting bar that is easy to make and very popular at gatherings. The baking time is off. It takes 30-40 minutes to bake.

Very simple to make, but very delicious to eat! There is never any left over whenever I take them to a gathering. Kind of like scotcheroos, only softer.

This is a recipe I have now made several times. They are very delicious. They make a lot. I love them cold but my family likes them soft and at room temp. This is an all around favorite and I have added it to my list of "will make agains." Thank you
