Very easy to make and taste awesome. I usually add 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice to this as well. In addition I always substitue the cull cup of sugar (white & brown) with agave nectar. No one can tell the difference!!!

I'm making this for the second time. I sprinkled a little homemade granola on top and had apple crunch with my ice cream.

I made this tonight and everyone loved it. I cooked it on top of the stove and cut the sugar in half. It was delicious and really easy. Thank you for the recipe.

Substituted Splenda and Splenda brown sugar blend. It was excellent! Due to differing slow cooker temperatures, recommend you check the apples approximately 30-45 min. before end of cooking time to keep apples from collapsing. Thank you for a wonderful and easy recipe.

I just made this today and the taste is wonderful. I ended up with great tasting applesauce, not glazed apples. I will try this again on top of the stove, guessing the crock pot gets to hot even on low.

A little bourbon added 1/2 hr before you are going to use the apples makes this really great and something extra special.

Delicious! This is apple pie without having to bother making a crust... my absolute favorite dessert! Pour this warm over a scoop of ice cream... YUM. This makes a lot, so if you need to, you can either scale it down and cook it on the stove, or make the full batch. Take any leftovers, divide them into individual servings and freeze them in freezer bags. One of my favorite recipes from Taste of Home!

Easiest dessert ever with great results. Perfect for nights when you have company. Prepare early in the day and by the end of the night, you already have dessert ready with no other work besides adding ice cream.
