Ingredients

  • 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup raisins

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, butter, oats and eggs until well blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and raisins.
  • Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 9-11 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool for 5 minutes; before removing to wire racks to cool completely. Yield: about 3-1/2 dozen.
