One would probably use a 10'' or 12'' tube pan NOT a small one...I will definitely try this one.

LostTime I don't like canola oil. What else can I use?

Any mild tasting oil would work fine.

As written, this recipe is awful....and I am a formally trained Pastry Chef. In my opnion, way too many apples, waaaayyyy too much oil. 1st one was a dud. Ended up having to throw it out. 2nd one I did, I cut the oil in half and added 2 T butter. I also cut the amount of apples in half and was able to make 2 bundt cakes (only fill to 1/2 way). In assembling it, I sprayed pan with flour/oil spray, sprinkled on cinnomon sugar, put half apples lined around pan, put 1/2 the batter, added remaining apples in thin layer, topped with cinnomon sugar and added the remaining batter. Turned out wonderfully.

This is a moist & tasty cake that is easy to make. I combined the apples, cinnamon & sugar & it turned out fantastic! I also used apple juice in place of the orange juice.

Makes a large moist delicious cake. I had to bake it longer about an hour and a half.

I like the way you flip the bundt over to show the apples. I have used this technique with pumpkin cake on the bottom & apples on top with success.

Just made this for an Germanfest party and everyone loved it! It is moist and very tasty and pretty too. And I had all the ingred. on hand. I tossed the sliced apples w/ the cinnamon & sugar instead of sprinkling it. Sprinkle confect. sugar on top just before serving, otherwise it just sinks in and you can't see it. Will def. make again! Enjoy - KWarner

I was so glad to find this recipe! I used to make it when my boys were little.(Now 30 & 35)I had lost my recipe during a move long ago. I always mixed the 2 tsp. cinnamon, 3 tbsp. sugar with the apples. I think it is more moist that way. Thank you. jjones
