I like the way you flip the bundt over to show the apples. I have used this technique with pumpkin cake on the bottom & apples on top with success.

This cake is really good, moist and very big!! But it takes longer of 1hr10min at it states in the recipe... I had 1hr almost 30minand it has good but think that maybe is good to leave it a bit longer in the oven .. thks for the recipe. My husband german he likes it very much :)

Just made this for an Germanfest party and everyone loved it! It is moist and very tasty and pretty too. And I had all the ingred. on hand. I tossed the sliced apples w/ the cinnamon & sugar instead of sprinkling it. Sprinkle confect. sugar on top just before serving, otherwise it just sinks in and you can't see it. Will def. make again! I was so glad to find this recipe! I used to make it when my boys were little.(Now 30 & 35)I had lost my recipe during a move long ago. I always mixed the 2 tsp. cinnamon, 3 tbsp. sugar with the apples. I think it is more moist that way. Thank you. jjones
