The buttery pasta dish calls for orzo, which cooks quickly and is a nice change from ordinary pasta shapes."This fantastic recipe was inspired by a similar dish I once tried," Stephanie says. "It makes a superb side dish anytime. The garlic and Parmesan cheese really stand out."

Yummy! Everyone loved it. I did cut back on the butter to 3 tablespoons to save on calories. It was still moist and delicious!

Wow!! I made this when some friends were coming over and it was such a hit. I will totally make it again. So very easy, and so delicious. I don't think a lot of people know what orzo pasta is, so it looks super fancy, but it is so easy to make and it so good. I used frozen cubes of garlic and basil bc it is what I had on hand, and it was so good. I will for sure be making this again!!

We love this, but usually half it for just two people. When it's done we add feta. Delish!!!

My whole family really liked this recipe but I did make a couple changes. First I cooked the orzo in chicken broth and second I added a little more parmesan!

I cut the recipe in half, but used the ingredients as stated, just less. Great!

I made this recipe with half the amount of butter and skim milk rather than 2% because that's what my family drinks and, therefore, what I had on hand. I omitted the parsley. While bland in color, this dish is packed with flavor. Would be great with chopped spinach. I will definitely make this again!

This was a quick and easy recipe that was a hit with the entire family. I love it when my children are happy.

Good start, though I had to make some changes. There was waay too much butter, so you can easily halve the amount. Also, I thought the amount of garlic made it too sweet, so I would halve that too. It's still a little bland, but if you up the salt a touch, it's a nice side dish for a flavor-heavy main dish.

My daughters new favorite side dish because it tastes so good and mine because it's so easy to make!

Very yummy recipe! I have even cut the butter in half to make it a little bit healthier and it still tastes great. All four of my kids even like it.
