These were really good. Moist with just a bit of peanut butter flavor. I used a glaze instead of frosting and they were so good!

Very easy to make. For boxed brownies and canned frosting, this was pretty good. The peanut butter filling was really good and creamy. I used chunky peanut butter. I would make this quick and easy "take to a church function" dessert again.

I made these to bring to a family gathering because I knew the kids wanted brownies. Now they're requested and often hidden from the kids. Easy, rich, yummy!

We all thought they were very good. I didn't put the chocolate frosting on though because that's just too much chocolate for me. The peanut butter layer was a good frosting although it was a little thick for me and I would probably not put quite as much next time.

These are sooooo good. My 8 yr old said he wanted to eat them all. I took them to Sunday School and everyone loved them and some asked for the recipe.

I omitted the chocolate frosting on top. The peanut butter layer makes the perfect frosting! Also I stirred a half package of peanut butter chips into the brownie batter. Mmmmm! Will be making these regularly!

Yum! I didn't want the top layer of canned frosting, so I drizzled melted chocolate chips one direction and melted peanut butter chips the other direction. Very pretty and sooooo good!

This is my favorite brownie recipe! But it is super rich, so I recommend cutting the confectioners' sugar in half. I've done this several times and enjoyed it with less sugar.

These were AMAZING!! I made my own frosting instead of using canned stuff and it was even better than we could have imagined!! These are definitely worth making!!

Even though these were a little too sweet for me, my husband and kids loved them. The only change I made was the frosting. I won't buy ready made frosting so I made my own.

Made these for a pot luck at work and they were "sinful." Would suggest leaving the top layer of chocolate frosting off - the peanut butter frosting is delicious just by itself!

yummy, prefer the filling and using homemade brownies as well as frosting.

Delicious! I made in a 2.2 qt baking dish and topped with quartered reese's miniature cups...over the top with richness!! Chopped peanuts would have been a nice topping also. I used 5 teaspoons of pudding mix and 1/4 cup of peanut butter and it held together nicely. I'll just save the rest of the box of pudding for the next time and make this, which will definitely be soon. Cut into small servings because this is so rich.

Recipe says 41/2 tsps. but I would use a small box teaspoons are not going to be enough. Whatever you don't use you eat

To Jammarie: I think this is probably one of the smaller boxes of pudding. The brownies should make a 13x9 pan and 4 tsps would be enough to cover a couple but not a pan..

I want to make this recipe, but I am totally confused about the amount of pudding mix to use. From review, some say to use 4-1/2 ounces, some use the 4-1/2 teaspoons. Pudding mixes I buy come either in 1.5 oz or 5.1 oz sizes. Could someone please help and let me know just how much I should use? I would really appreciate. Thanks!

One of our family favorites. I only use the 4 1/2 tsp. of pudding the recipe calls for and real butter. I have also used homemade choc frosting on top instead of canned and just as good! These are at the top of our brownie list!

VERY good. I brought them into work for a luncheon and everyone loved them. I also added 1/2 cup of peanut butter chips to the brownie mix. I would definitely make these again.

This was incredible. I took it to a potluck and it was a hit. I used 4 1/2 t of pudding mix, but didn't think it looked like enough, so I mixed in 4 1/2 oz total. That worked. My husband asked me to make it again.

Very sweet, definitely need to be cut into small squares. My edges and corners got a little crispy so would need to keep a close eye on them while baking next time.

I haven't tryed it yet, but I had a queston about the pudding. Does that mean really 4 1/2 teaspoons or the 4 1/2 oz serving size box of pudding...I was confused. Those that made it please advise me, so I know it's not a misprint. Thanks.

I can'twait to make this again. They were awesome! I didn't have chocolate frosting so I put a heaping tablespoon of cocoa into my white frosting and it made a light chocolate colour.

Loved these! I used real butter and stored the first two layers in the fridge overnight and then added 1/2 a can of frosting the next day. I had no problems with them being mushy and I did not refrigerate after I added the frosting.

These are my "I have to take these to the office" brownies! I made them on a Sunday and had a really hard time not eating them all myself! I used a brownie mix with Hershey's pieces in it, instead of fudge. I also only used 1/2 of the can of frosting, but it was still just as rich!

Heavenly! I've made these several times using different brownie mixes. All turned out very tasty. I found that using real butter and not a substitute with the 3 Tbsp peanut butter kept that layer firm, (without storing in fridge) a friend used a substitute for the butter and the peanut butter layer was very runny.

I made this recipe for a neighborhood get-together and received rave reviews. As previously suggested, I put the final layer of frosting on immediately after the pb layer was firm & kept it refrigerated until serving.

Dear Lord these were excellent. I loved everything about them. If you don't eat them all right away keep them stored in the frig or they get a little smushy.

Very messy. A hassle to cut and keep the top layers connected to the brownie. It turned into a big chocolate mountain in the pan after cutting.

Oh my sweet heavenly goodness! This was super yummy! It is very rich, so cut your pieces small. Everyone loved this and I had several ask for the recipe. I think you can get away with frosting it (when the pb topping is firm) and then storing in fridge before you are ready to serve, verses frosting RIGHT before serving. I loved the pb topping and am thinking of using that mixture possibly on cinnamon rolls or some other sweet treats.

When I received my new issue of your magazine and read this recipe, I knew I would make it for New Year's dinner dessert. One piece would not fit on the plate, so my husband and I shared it - were we lucky - they were gone in no time!! Definitly a keeper!!
