Fruit Slush Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup canned peaches in extra-light syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Facts 3/4 cup equals 204 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 4 mg sodium, 51 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 1 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 2-1/2 fruit, 1 starch.
