Frosty Orange Drink Recipe

Prep/Total Time: 15 min.

Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients

1 cup water
1 cup 2% milk
1/2 cup orange breakfast drink mix
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
10 to 12 ice cubes

Directions

In a blender, combine all the ingredients; cover and process until blended. Serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Analysis: One serving (prepared with fat-free milk, sugar-free orange breakfast drink and sugar substitute equivalent to 1/2 cup sugar) equals 77 calories, trace fat (0 saturated fat), 1 mg cholesterol, 46 mg sodium, 16 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 8 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1/2 fruit, 1/2 fat-free milk.
