"This fun frosty treat came from a very dear elderly friend who was a great cook. I think of her whenever I make it. It’s so simple, cool and refreshing on a hot summer day. You can also add fresh blueberries for a beautiful red-white-and-blue patriotic showstopper!" —Gail Marshall Fort Lauderdale, Florida

This recipe is really light for summer. I love anything lemon. I used lower fat ice cream. Next time I might try frozen yogurt. Since it is not cooked I can use ny kind of ice cream or yogurt I want. Very convenient. Thanks.
