I usually make this dish for brunch, but it's also wonderful for breakfast or dinner. Guests have said it just melts in their mouth.

This has been a family favorite for many years. It's sweet, so it goes great with a breakfast buffet with other savory dishes.

For the past 5 years, I have made this recipe as a pre-Christmas brunch for friends and neighbors. Everyone loves it! I serve it with a big ham steak and/or sausage.
