French Salad Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Dash pepper
  • Salad greens

Directions

  • In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the oil, vinegar, salt, garlic and pepper; shake well. Serve over salad greens. Yield: about 1/3 cup.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (2 tablespoons) equals 162 calories, 18 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 590 mg sodium, trace carbohydrate, trace fiber, trace protein.

I have made this a lot my husband loves it. This is a basic dressing that is very easy to add to.
