Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 medium fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 2 thin onion slices
  • Pinch salt, optional

Directions

  • Melt butter in a small saucepan; add all remaining ingredients. Cover and cook until the peas are tender, stirring occasionally. Yield: 1 serving.

Nutritional Analysis: One serving (prepared with margarine and without added salt) equals 104 calories, 1 g fat (0 saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 104 mg sodium, 13 g carbohydrate, 0 fiber, 4 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 starch, 1 fat.
