Rate French Coconut Pie Recipe

  • Prep: 5 min. Bake: 50 min. + cooling

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine all ingredients except pie shell. Pour into the pie shell and bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake 40 minutes or until top is golden and the center is almost set. When cool, store in the refrigerator. Yield: 8 servings.

Nutrition Facts: 1 serving (1 piece) equals 475 calories, 25 g fat (15 g saturated fat), 119 mg cholesterol, 285 mg sodium, 58 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 5 g protein.
