These moist treats will have everyone reaching for more. Folks tell me they enjoy the cookies. In fact, the batches I make ahead for my family and store in the freezer seem to mysteriously disappear each year—even though the chocolate topping I put on before serving hasn't been added yet! —Judy Wilder, Mankato, Minnesota

I was a little skitish, but my 11 yr old picked this out for the 4-H cookie contest. She won! They were incredible! Like little morsels of Heaven! We made no changes and they were easy enough for her to make on her own. Kid-friendly to make, but very elegant, it is a winner!

Very chocolately! Tastes like a bite of gourmet choc chip cookie. It really doesn't need more chocolate on top, but I'm trying to figure out how to "dress it up." I cooked mine in chocolate red foil papers in mini muffin pans. Following suggestions here I sprayed the inside well and they lift out easily. I haven't served them at our brunch--We'll see how that goes.

Everyone loved them! One batch made enough cookies to share, in tins, with 3 others and still have some for home. Passed the recipe on. So Easy and good!

I made these for our New Year's Eve party. I substituted butterscotch chips for chocolate, added 1/2 t. vanilla and 1/4 t. salt. I had lots of compliments and my husband loved them, too. I would never have guessed they were made from graham crackers! I would sure make them again.

Hubby especially loved these!! This is a huge recipe, though. Next time I will try halfing it unless we have someplace to share them.

Yummy! Made these for Christmas and everybody wanted to take some home. Very easy to make. I definitely will make these again. I used foil cups to start and then switched to paper baking cups (holiday print) that was much easier to separate.

Although it was a bit messy to make, these cookies are definitely worth it. My family and friends have raved about these cookies and I didn' t even get a chance to drizzle the chocolate on them. I will definitely be making these for the holidays from now on.

Made these cookies for office Christmas gifts - they wanted the recipe. Very easy to make and oh-so-good. Definitely will make these again.

I made this with white chocolate and topped with drizzled icing, delicious, my daughter made them with the chocolate chip and they were just as good.

My daughter and I made them for her French class for extra credit, they are very good, we added coconut and used half the nuts.

Reviewed on Dec. 22, 2009 by Jennifer28

I made a half recipe to try. They were easy to make, but the taste was a bit dry. I probably won't make them again, although I was suprised of the low calorie count. They tasted like they had more calories than 35.

Made them to try and thought they were pretty good-like the idea of substituting the toffee chips for the nuts!

Reviewed on Dec. 22, 2009 by chsecy

I made seven of your cookie & candy recipes and this was my favorite. I substituted toffee chips for the nuts, since I can't have nuts. Delicious!

I have made it 2 times already. The first with real butter and the next with oleo. I could not buy the foil in my town so used paper cup and put them in the mini pans to bake. They needed 15 min to be set. The butter ones come out of the paper easier I felt. Both were good. Everyone including ones that don't like nuts loved them, as the nuts weren't large.I will make them again

I made these using 1 1/4 C milk chocolate & peanut butter chips and 3/4 cup semi-sweet morsels. They turned out great!

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2009 by marycatherine1

it was very easy and what I really liked about them is that they made a lot....I filled up the little papers more than 2/3 full so I didn't get 9-1/2 dozens but it was ok because it still made a lot..They were the bomb!

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2009 by kchesney

I baked them for an eternity and they never set. Just a gooey mess stuck to the paper. A real time waster.

Very tasty and I will make again. I used semi sweet chips for the topping as that is what I had and that was very good.

I made these and they were really good. Time consuming only from the standpoint of filling the little papers.

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2009 by dkorenberg

These were horribly time consuming, dry and crumbled when removing the paper liners.

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2009 by sillyserpent

I would have preferred to make them with the mini-chips - I will next time.

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2009 by patsy37

I have been making these for many years, we call them tea cakes. I use half-half instead of milk and use the mini chips. They are very good. If you people are worried about calories don't make them.

This is a real winner for Christmas gift boxes and just the right size for kids! Have to be careful though they just slip into your mouth

and are easy to get hooked on.

Here's a question that is not connected to the cookies...when you uyse silicone bakeware does it need to be greased or sprayed before filling?

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2009 by ccdse

These were such a hit at our home. I did read several reviews in which the calorie count is in dispute but even at 65-70 calories per serving they are good. I didn't put the melted chocolate on top and they were great! Easy and mine only took the 10-12 minutes to cook.

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2009 by maxscenes

Thought they were very tasty even without the chocolate drizzle on top. Wasn't sure if they were set yet, so baked maximum amount. After cooling, figured out could have baked less.

There's enough here that I can't eat them all by Christmas! They look so festive!

I made these this weekend and they taste great but they take a long time to bake. The reason the calorie count is so low is because they are bite size. I wonder if they would be just as good if you made larger cookies out of the dough?--Joyce, Centralia,MO

I don't think these are quick at all. Lots of fuss without a huge payoff.

Why do you need to store these in the refrigerator? They are very good and will do again....

the only thing i would say to do is make sure to spray the papers before putting the stuff in ti so it comes out easier :) th ekids really enjoyed it

I made these cookies for a cookie exchange. Ididn't have enough milk chocolate chips for the topping, so I substituted with about 1/2 cup of milk choc. chips and 1/2 cup of a mixture of dark chocolate chips and mint chips. They turned out great.

I like the idea that they are in the little baking cups, something about that seems to make them more special and fancy.

We apologize that the nutrition information has been left off this recipe. It will be updated soon. But in the meantime, here is the information. 1 cookie equals 32 calories, 2 g fat, 3 mg cholesterol, 12 mg sodium and 3 g carb. These numbers may seem low, but they're based on the recipe making 114 cookies.

I can't wait to try these! They sound like the perfect little nibble of a sweet that some of us need once in a while. But if anyone is SO concerned with calories you probably SHOULDN'T be looking in the cookie section anyway!

Reviewed on Dec. 17, 2009 by Barbara

Maybe the calorie count is 35 calories since you use the miniature baking cups instead of the regular muffin cups. I will try them this weekend.

Wow ..awesome tasting and easy...Went over great at the Church Luncheon..

Reviewed on Dec. 17, 2009 by mimi4fun

I figured out the calorie count at approx 60 a piece and that's without the chocolate squiggle on top that would add another 10

Reviewed on Dec. 17, 2009 by MargeAZ

Kind of sweet for my taste - too much chocolate/brown sugar (and I love chocolate). I would use less chocolate, or just not put the chocolate on top. I entered this recipe in a recipe software I have. It comes out to 62 calories each, if you make 114 out of the recipe.

You could use fat-free milk, less brown sugar, light butter to reduce calories.

Reviewed on Dec. 17, 2009 by Oilqueen

sorry about my spelling, my fingers aren't working right for 'chocolate'.

Reviewed on Dec. 17, 2009 by Oilqueen

The cookies were super easy to make, and very yummy. I went with white chololate on top, may try dark chololate next. For the nestle commercials, don't scroll over where it talks about the chololate chips. It's annoying, but it's a selling technique.

Reviewed on Dec. 17, 2009 by shgalitz

Without a nutrition guide, I won't make this recipe. Certainly can't be under 35 calories with the butter and chocolate chips!

Reviewed on Dec. 17, 2009 by kruke
