These moist treats will have everyone reaching for more. Folks tell me they enjoy the cookies. In fact, the batches I make ahead for my family and store in the freezer seem to mysteriously disappear each year—even though the chocolate topping I put on before serving hasn't been added yet! —Judy Wilder, Mankato, Minnesota

made them for the first time they were a hit !!!!

I was disappointed in the texture. Next time I would not chop the walnuts so fine as the chocolate chips seem overwhelming. I have not baked all of them yet and put some miniature marshmallows in the freezer and hope my chopper will chop them up a bit. Think a little white would add to the color--maybe a few chopped cherries too!

Not sure what happened. Followed recipe exactly and the result wasn't good. Sorry I wasted all those walnuts :0(

I used mini muffin pans and non-stick spray and they came out fine. Very good.

These cookies are amazing!! I made them last year as part of my Christmas cookies and I had to make several additional batches! They were such a hit! I already have people asking me to bring them functions and it's only September! My only trouble was getting them out of the foil cups, so I used baking spray on mini muffin pans and made them without the foil cups.

This recipe yields 9 1/2 dozen cookies per each batch of recipe (114 each). It uses Graham Cracker Crumbs as a base which may be perfect [measured by the cups full], yet I am thinking of trying crushed Nilla Wafers as an alternate base. It may not be that big a difference, but I am intrigued with not using Graham Crackers [a personal prejudice-they were a daily snack in DC Elementary Schools when I was a youngster. Now I only use them for S'mores, & an occasional pie crust. I have found Kellog's Nilla Wafers work best in most recipes-as an alternate to GC[. Try it your self and give me your feedback. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic recipe! I didn't have chocolate chips and used peanut butter chips instead, but my family raved about the taste of them at Christmas. I will make these again and try chocolate!

Taste great but mine stuck to the liners as well...making a batch now without liners to see if there is a difference

These cookies taste really good. The only problem i have is that they stick to the bottom of the liners (doesn't matter which type of liner I use).

These were very easy to put together. They also taste great. I plan to make another batch as part of my Christmas party that is my present to my co-workers. They will be a great addition to the menu!
