I've been searching for a gravy recipe that was easy to make during the last minute rush of preparing a holiday dinner. I also tend to make minor errors in recipes so the foolproof name attracted me. I've made this twice now and it tastes great. I've been lucky enough to have plenty of turkey juices so I haven't had to supplement with chicken stock.

This gravy was good and foolproof but not the best. My husband said it was ok but not like my usual (I usually make a rue with butter/flour and whisk in chicken or beef broth). I thought it was good and will make it again.

Everyone loved it. I've been cooking Thanksgiving dinner for many years and this was easy and delicious.

I have made this gravy 4 times, and it is unbelievably easy, just as it claims. There are no lumps and it is delicious. I like that it does not have a lot of sodium. This is a permanent recipie in our family's collection.
