Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups frozen corn
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, bring the corn and water to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 4-6 minutes or until corn is tender. Drain; add butter and seasonings. Stir until butter is melted. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1/2 cup equals 116 calories, 4 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 8 mg cholesterol, 32 mg sodium, 21 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 3 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1-1/2 starch, 1/2 fat.
