Lamb is a great source of protein and adds a delicious flavor to this classic stew. If you can't find it at your grocery store, try using beef stew meat instead. —Taste of Home Test Kitchen

Big flavor, delicious stew. I used ground lamb and the finished product was great. Big lamb flavor- economically priced!

I would use pork roast instead of veal or lamb but that's just my meat prefrence. It is delicious.

Delicious flavor. Well worth the effort to prepare. I would prepare Irish soda muffins to accompany this.
